Sep 2012 - Glencoe

23rd Sep: A fine day for a walk round Glencoe. 15 miles, 4 Munros and 1 Corbett.  Unfortunately left the camera at the Youth Hostel, so had to make do with the camera on my phone.

Loch Etive from Buachille Etive Beag:

Glen Etive, apparently a popular spot for wild camping.  I could see why.

Buachaille Etive Mor from Beinn Mhic Chasgaig:

The view from Meall a Bhuiridh stretched all the way to Ben Nevis, which seemed to have a dusting of snow.

Once I figured out how to control the exposure settings on the phone, I managed some decent shots of the early evening sunshine.

It didn't take me long to demolish this lot (haggis, neeps & tatties, and a pint of McEwans 80 shilling):
