10th: Geography field trip to a chilly Minehead, with an introduction to the penny arcades.

13th: Taking on the cobbles of Paris-Roubaix - 178km route with 55km of cobbled tracks.

14th: Watching the pros show how it's done at twice the speed.

20th: Easter egg hunt at Beningborough.

Feb 19

22nd Feb: Sheffield fly-past in honour of Mi Amigo, a bomber that crashed in Endcliffe park in 1944.

A 15-mile bike ride to Bradfield, including a stop at "Our Cow Molly" for ice cream (in February!)

 24th: The annual Tom Simpson memorial ride ("not a race")

Jan-Feb 19

Cross-country: More top-20 finishes at Brunswick and Concord, and 21st in the South Yorkshire finals.

10th Feb: Timed lap at Manchester velodrome: 250m in 20.98sec.

16th Feb: 100 mile club ride.

17-18 Feb: Half term Lakes trip, with a short warm-up walk up Silver How,

porridge & pancakes in the youth hostel,

and an epic mountain day on the Langdale Pikes.
