25th - 30th: Half term in a cottage in Wasdale. Arriving on a beautiful sunny evening, but the rest of the week was more mixed.
Buckbarrow, Seatallan & Middle Fell
Lingmell & Scafell Pike, into the cloud & rain. We gave up on reaching Great End, so that will have to wait for another day.
Traditional holiday cooked breakfast
Rainy day trip to the tiny church at Wasdale Head
Followed by a short stroll to the lake when the rain stopped
Our cottage
Last day, and a big walk of 20km. Yewbarrow, Red Pike, Scoat Fell, Steeple, Haycock and Caw Fell
