May 19

4th-5th May: Borrowed a VW camper for a fab weekend in Keswick.
New-born lambs and a scramble up Blencathra.

Trig-point surfing ain't what it used to be.

Parking up for the night in the car park, we were greeted by the unexpected sight of 2,000 people with head-torches on Catbells!
Someone better prepared than me took this one:
5th: We both had tired legs, so we opted for a shorter walk for day 2, up Fleetwith Pike from Honister for one of my favourite views in the Lake District.

Then briefly home for a sisterly reunion, and then off in the van again to the Peak District for a night, with a walk along Cressbrook Dale and the Monsal Trail, and lunch in Bakewell.
11th: On the way back from smashing my 25-mile PB at Etwall (51:40), I made a detour to visit a friend in hospital in Nottingham, so took a trip down memory lane, around the University Campus.
Willoughby Hall - my home between 1991-1993.
12th: Church walk to Stanage

27th: Sheffield Emergency Services Museum.

28th: Wild camping on the Corridor Route, Scafell Pike.

30th: Clumber Park family cycle
