Trig-point surfing ain't what it used to be.
Parking up for the night in the car park, we were greeted by the unexpected sight of 2,000 people with head-torches on Catbells!
Someone better prepared than me took this one:
5th: We both had tired legs, so we opted for a shorter walk for day 2, up Fleetwith Pike from Honister for one of my favourite views in the Lake District.
Then briefly home for a sisterly reunion, and then off in the van again to the Peak District for a night, with a walk along Cressbrook Dale and the Monsal Trail, and lunch in Bakewell.
11th: On the way back from smashing my 25-mile PB at Etwall (51:40), I made a detour to visit a friend in hospital in Nottingham, so took a trip down memory lane, around the University Campus.
