Aug 16: Grindelwald (part 4)

2nd: A scrambly walk to Baregg mountain hut, for some spectacular views down the Gletscherschlucht gorge.

 Another marmot. This one was very noisy.

Rewarded with some extra goes on the toboggan on the way down.

Pfingstegg cable car.

3rd: Cable car to Wengen, and a relatively gentle (but hot) walk to Kleine Scheidegg

Then Pete went for a run back to Grindelwald via the Eiger trail, while the girls took the train.

Just above the village is this permanent barbecue for public use, well stocked with wood - one to remember for another time!
