Oct 15: Honister

17-18 Oct: a night away in a Youth Hostel for E&K.  We drove up early on the Saturday, but not quite early enough to climb Striding Edge as planned, so opted for Plan B: Blencathra via Hallsfell Ridge.

18th: Egg butties in the hostel for breakfast.

Then we walked up Dale Head, over Hindscarth and Robinson down to Buttermere village, where we got the bus back up to Honister.
