25th Oct: Grey Corries on a wet & windy weekend.  Five Munros in a day, to take my tally to 82. Only 200 more to go!

 

 

29th Oct:  Proper climbing at Stanage.  Emily belayed Daddy for the first time.

Meanwhile Megan made apple pie with Mummy.  Katie spent the day at holiday club.

30th: Megan's turn for a "Daddy day", and she wanted to go climbing like her sister.  And go to the cafe for beans on toast, of course.

31st:  A trip down memory lane to the National Media Museum, Bradford.

9th Nov: Remembrance Sunday walk with Jon, Dan & Hattie, up Great Gable.

Didn't quite make it up Gable for the minute's silence at 11am, so had to scramble up past hundreds of people making their way down.

On top of Great Gable: Emily's 50th Wainwright.

27th: And another cake for her actual birthday.

Oct 5th: Monsal Hill Climb. Finished 105th out of a very strong field of 137 riders (including some professionals), in a time of 2min 01.7sec.  Under 2 mins next year!

Oct 17-19: Megan had the class pet (Charlie) for the weekend.
