May 2013 Half-term
26th May: Weaseling at Stanage
27th: Nostell Priory
29th-31st: A few days 'peak-bagging' in the Lakes.
First Hen Comb and Gavel Fell, including an unexpected (and not entirely successful) river-crossing.
Then a walk up Skiddaw, ticking off 4 other Wainwrights on the way.
31st May: Megan walked all the way up & down Rannerdale Knotts in Buttermere.
1st June: Proper outdoor climbing at Burbage North. Emily & Katie top-roped a Diff ("Little Plumb") and a Mod ("Steptoe"). Obviously I couldn't take photos, as my hands were full holding on to the rope - so here are some bouldering shots.
Then we met up with Jon, Dan & Hattie for tea.
