29th Oct: Ennerdale
30th Oct: Low Fell

Emily's birthday & cross-country
An extra-early start to opening presents, before Daddy set off for work.
Check out the funky candles.
Megan enjoyed the cake!
1st Oct: Birthday bowling on the hottest October day on record.
Followed by birthday tea at Frankie & Benny's
8th Oct: Emily's 2nd cross-country race. She continued her tactic of picking her way through the field from the back. A strong performance by the Westways girls, with 3 in the top 10.
One of Emily's birthday presents was 'Art Academy' for the DS, and she's been trying out some of the techniques in 'real life' as well:

17th-18th Sept: Crianlarich
17th July: Making the most of a 'weekend pass', staying in Crianlarich and climbing 8 Munros in 2 days. First Gwyn kindly gave me a lift to Invervar and joined me for a walk up An Stuc, Meall Garbh and Meall Greigh on the Ben Lawers Massif.
An Stuc, my 50th Munro.
Look closely and you can spot some deer. the walk we'd originally planned, north of Invervar, was 'closed' due to deer-stalking.
18th: A cloudy start to an epic day on the Bridge of Orchy hills, bagging 5 Munros in 21 miles and 2,300 metres of climb.
Beinn a Chreachain from Beinn Achaladair.
